With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beverly Ann Doggett of Quitman, Mississippi, who passed away on June 29, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her parents, James Haskell and Katie Ruth Doggett (Dobbins); her children, Cecil Lamar Smith, Jr. Smith (Claudean) of Quitman and Carla Smith-Fortenberry (Brent) of Meridian; her grandsons, Justin Smith and Joshua "Smitty" Smith (Katelin); her great grandchildren, Ezra Smith and Hazel Smith; her siblings, James "Jimmy" Doggett (Linda), George W. "Roscoe" Doggett, Sandra Doggett and Miriam Boykin (Lavelle); and her brother-in-law Lavelle Smith of Quitman.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to American Stroke Association or her church, East Pleasant Grove, Quitman, MS, or your favorite charity.
