Alice Ruth White Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2022, at the age of 94, Alice Ruth White of Quitman, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Herman Doherty and Esther Lee Smith Doherty (Royce Lindbergh White); her son Gary Roy White; her brother Otis L. Doherty; and her nephew Glen Doherty.
She is survived by: her daughter Ruth Diane Champion; her grandchildren, Sonya Tyrney (Jay), Allison Cuevas (Jacob), Rachel Albritton (Jackie) and Matthew Champion (Tammy); her great grandchildren, Brooklyn Whigham (Cody), Ciarra Cuevas, Colton Albritton, Chase Albritton, Cameron Albritton, Brittany Conner, Blaise Champion, Justin Mayo and Danielle Wilson (BJ); and her great great grandchildren, Cooper Whigham, Kevin Pittman, Everett Wilson and Nathanial Wilson.
In lieu of flowers, Alice's family requests that donations be made in her honor to any of your favorite charities.
