He is survived by: his wife Katherine Elizabeth Loveday Cooper of Knoxville, TN; his children, Sheila Ann Cooper Hillman (Frank) and Wilmer Butch Cooper, Jr.; his grandchildren, Kathryn Laine Welch, James Lyle Hillman, Pace Cooper (Sara) and P. Lance Hillman (Sharon); his great grandchildren, Jamie Lynn Hillman, Kole Franklin Welch, Christian Silas Welch, Ella Kate Cooper, Cade Hillman and Garrett Hillman; and his siblings, Diane Cooper Pittman (Brownie), June Cooper Strahan (Homer), Bill Cooper (Betty) and William Kenneth Cooper (Pat).
