It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wiley Lee Barnes Jr. of Purvis, Mississippi, who passed away on September 4, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Wiley Lee leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Wiley Lee may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Lee, and Wiley Lee, Sr.; his siblings, Jerry Barnes and Ann Barnes Stuart; and his daughter Sandra Barnes Lee.
He is survived by: his son Michael Barnes (Susan). He is also survived by six grandchildren.
