It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Scott Evans of Purvis, Mississippi, born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who passed away on January 29, 2022, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Gregory Sterling Evans. He is survived by: his parents, Philip Evans Sr. and Barbara Sterling Evans; his brothers, Phil Evans Jr. (Anna) and Chuck Evans (Kay); his nieces, Sarah Rabalais (Brad), Leah Templeton (Michael), Stacey Evans and Jennifer Crosby; his nephew Henry Crosby; and his great-nephew Braydon Bordelon.
