It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Jean Boone of Purvis, Mississippi, who passed away on December 3, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy Boone; her parents, Thomas Virgil McGill and Audie Mae Malley McGill; and her sisters, Diane Sanchez and Audie Mae McGill.
She is survived by: her daughters, Deborah Chase of Ocean Springs, Tina Anderson (Kelly) of Hattiesburg, Vicki Bullock (Jeff) of Hattiesburg and Tonya Goodwin (Lawrence) of Purvis; her brothers, Thomas McGill (Priscilla) of Lumberton, James McGill (Nell) of Columbia and Homer McGill (Mavis) of Columbia; and her brothers-in-law, Scott Boone of Purvis and David Boone of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.. She is also survived by thirteen Grandchildren; thirteen Great Grandchildren.
