She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuel Allen and Hilda Allen; and her son-in-law Jim Matthews. She is survived by: her husband Bobby G. Carney of Purvis; her children, Lisa M. Beverly (Ted) of Hattiesburg and David A. Carney (Stacey C.) of Purvis; her granddaughters, Sarah E. Nelson (Chris) of Purvis and Rachel L. Williams (Travis) of Petal; and her great grandchildren, Arya and Liam Williams.
