It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita S. Whiddon (Purvis, Mississippi), who passed away on May 11, 2020, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Wilborn Whiddon; and her parents, Charles Woodside and Rose Woodside. She is survived by: her daughters, Hope Howard (Billy) of Purvis, Gwen Simmons of Louisville, KY and Wanda Boswell of Louisville, KY; and her siblings, Joseph Woodside of Louisville, KY, Charles Woodside of Louisville, KY and Clair Hoover of Louisville, KY.. She is also survived by six step children; 5 grandchildren; 14 step grandchildren; 6 step great-grandchildren.
