He was predeceased by: his daughter Tabitha Lee; his parents, John R. Mills, Sr. and Lettel Bost Mills; and his stepson Von Tremper. He is survived by: his wife Bunnell Mills of Purvis; his children, Paula Clay of Ft. Worth, TX and Ricky Mills of Conroe, TX; his sister Sheril Miller of Ft. Worth; his grandchildren, Sydney Clay, Jacy Pendarvis, Emily Deaton and Jonathon Tremper; his great grandchildren, Kaden Pendarvis, Timothy Deaton and Kace Deaton; his nephew Daniel McNeese; and his brother-in-law Wayne Miller of Purvis.
