He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Lee and Smith, Sr. (Ela Imogene Smith); and his brother Harry Smith. He is survived by: his wife Jerry Smith of Purvis, MS; his children, David Smith of Petal, MS and Theresa Devine of Houston, TX; his stepchildren, Kasey Knight of Purvis, MS, Cody Knight of Purvis, MS and Francis Knight of Hastings, MN; and his siblings, Louela Sears, Joan Baker, Rebecca Collins and Quincy Smith of Crawford, VA. He is also survived by four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
