It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Black Warren (Purvis, Mississippi), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on December 23, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Evelyn Dyar, Bessie Duck, Oscar "Sonny" Black, Jr. and David Black, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Glen Warren (Tami) of Denver, Mitzi Oates (Billy) of Franklin and Brenda Reece of Atlanta, Georgia.; and her grandchildren, Amanda Oates Williamson (Jack) of Norfolk, Virginia of San Diego, Sarah Lane Oates of San Diego, Taylor Oates of San Diego, Warren Reece of Atlanta, Hudson Warren of Denver, Colorado. and Luella Bing Warren of Denver, Colorado.. She is also survived by her three children and six grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests that memorial donations be made either to the Purvis United Methodist Church or to the Salvation Army Alabama Louisiana Mississippi Division.
