She was predeceased by: her parents, William T. "Speck" Boyd and Lucille Whittington Boyd; her husband Daniel "Danny" Smith; her son Steven Wayne Smith (Donna); her granddaughter Christy Smith; and her sister Shirley F. Hales (Bobby).
She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia "Cindy" S. Carter (Boyd) of Hattiesburg, MS.; and her grandchildren, D. J. Preiss (Nicole) and Daniel (Kalyn).
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hartman Jones Funeral Home (1801 Delaware Ave, McComb, MS 39648). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
