We are sad to announce that on July 10, 2023, at the age of 79, Lonnie Burton Barrett Sr. of Purvis, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Barrett, and Madis Barrett, Sr.; his brother Roger Lee Barrett, Jr.; and his sister-in-law Mary Barrett. He is survived by: his wife Betty Slade Barrett of Purvis; his children, Lonnie Barrett, Jr. of Purvis and Tammy Taylor (Ron) of Orange Beach, AL; his grandson Blake Dubose of Virginia Beach, VA; his nieces, Deborah Smith, Jane Owens and Susan Letz; and his nephew Steven Barrett.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
