He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father L. C. Altom; his brother Darrell Altom; his wife Connie Altom of Purvis, MS; his mother Dorothy Altom of Purvis, MS; his daughters, Angie Stringfellow (Jeffrey) of Wiggins, MS, Jennifer Brewer (Jeremy) of Purvis, MS, Amy Redlin (Chris) of Purvis, MS and Toni Altom of Purvis, MS; his brothers, Lewis Altom of Purvis, MS and David Altom (Marie) of Purvis, MS; and his pets, Ty and Lola. He was also cherished by fourteen grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
