She was predeceased by: her parents, Patricia Jean Harper Hudson and James Elbert Hudson Sr.; her stepmother Nancy Rose Marie Holton; her great-grandparents, Elbert Andrew and Eula Mae Davis Hudson; her brother Albert Wayne Johnson; and her uncle Billy Joe Hudson.
She is survived by: her pet Bella Marie; her close friend Legs; her son Jacob Matthew Hamilton; her granddaughter Mia Chanel Hamilton; her siblings, James Elbert Hudson, Jr., Deborah Christine Johnson Floyd, Paul Anthony Hudson, Cynthia Lynn Hudson, Derrick Allen Johnson, Joseph Emerson Hudson, Callie Rene Pendergrass Stoulig, Jason Wade Pendergrass and Candice Renee Hudson Sciba; and her aunt Mamie Hudson Brown. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She adored her pet companions, Bella Marie and Legs, and was a faithful patron of the Arbor Day Foundation and St. Jude's hospital.
