He is survived by: his children, Carlos Griffith of Texas, Sedrick Griffith of Sumrall, MS, Carlita Griffith of Purvis, MS and Marie Johnson of Purvis, MS; and his siblings, Shelby Griffith of California, Louvella Haynes of Taylorsville, MS, Stella Griffith of Hattiesburg, MS, Mary Young of Purvis, MS and Geneva Phillips of Purvis, MS. He is also survived by grandchildren: 8; great-grandchildren.
