It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Rodney Pylant of Purvis, Mississippi, who passed away on November 26, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, R. L. Pylant and Bonniebell Pylant; and his grandsons, Chris Pylant and Spencer Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Pylant of Purvis, MS; his sons, Lance Pylant (Tammy) of Purvis, MS and James Howell Pylant of Nederland; and his brother Jack Pylant (Iamlee) of Shreveport, LA. He is also survived by three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
