He was predeceased by: his parents, Damon Palmer and Ruby Palmer. He is survived by: his wife Jane Avery Palmer; his children, Joseph Wayne Palmer (John), Jeannie Palmer Sellers (Earl) and Jenifer Palmer Miles (Chris); his sister Mary Ann Palmer Purvis (Howell); his grandsons, Jed Alan Sellers (Jennifer), Cale Bradley Sellers (Jennifer) and Carter LeRoy Miles; and his great grandchildren, Caroline Marie Sellers, Anna Michelle Sellers, Ainsley Elizabeth Sellers and Addison Avery Sellers.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Purvis United Methodist Church (206 Mitchell Ave, Purvis, MS 39475). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
