He is survived by: his nephew Bo Gaines; his children, James W. Martin, Lisa Martin Gates Lear, Janet Martin Palmiero and Justin F. Martin; his stepchildren, Angela McClelland and Lorrie Jones; his grandchildren, James "Chance" Martin, Kyler Gates, Devon Martin, Tucker Gates, Connor Gates, Jacob Martin, Dylan Palmiero, Jenna Palmiero and Julie Martin; and his stepgrandchildren, Bryson Jones, Taylor Jones, Courtey McClelland, Candace Herrin and Cayla Higdon. He is also survived by five great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
