It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Hegwood (Purvis, Mississippi), who passed away on December 2, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Carroll D. Hegwood. She is survived by: her children, David Hegood (Lydia) of Dear Park, TX, Debbie Hegwood and Newana Evans of Purvis, MS; and her sister Bobbie Jones of Petal, MS. She is also survived by four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, a number of dear friends.
