He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Evans and Idelle Evans; and his siblings, James Anderson, Alma McMahon, Ada Stuart and Inez Riggs.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Evans of Purvis; his children, Mark Evans (Tina) of Purvis and Melissa Evans Lower (Jimmy) of Purvis; his grandchildren, Destin Hale (Zack), Emmaly Bennett (Lance), Brooke Evans, Ethan Evans (Alyssa), Tony Purvis (Emily), Amanda Lower (Brian), Nick Lower, Hannah Lower and Shain Lower; his great grandchildren, Slade Bennett, Roman Hale, Bonnie Hale, Mayson Evans, Saylor Evans, Mya Purvis, Molly Purvis and Madden Purvis; and his siblings, Betty Keating (Danny) of Slidell, Alice Dugger of Purvis and Mike Evans (Nilda) of Purvis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
