Though Earnestine may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Calvin Means; her daughter Elisha Renee Pearson; her parents, James Bynum and Dora Bynum; and her sisters, Eunice Dickey, Audice Bynum and Verba Lee Valentine.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vann Reed of Mount Holly, NC, Gail Bowers (Steve) of Purvis and Derinda Kelley (Wayne) of Fulton, MO; and her brothers, James C. Bynum, Jr. (Brenda) of Magee and Gene K. Bynum of Mize. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Union Baptist Church (2259 Johns-Mayton Rd, Brandon, MS 39042). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
