It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Darrell Eugene Weaver of Purvis, Mississippi, who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde "Ray" Sr. Weaver and Mary Ella Weaver; his wife Rosemary Weaver; his son Scott Ray Weaver; and his brothers, Clyde "Ray" Weaver, Jr. and Bruce Wayne Weaver.
He is survived by: his children, David Ryan Weaver (Teresa) of Purvis, Sheri Lynn Roose of Mt. Clemens, MI and Terri Leigh Bigham (Mark) of Goldsboro, NC; and his daughter-in-law Loretta Weaver of South Rockwood, MI. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also a very generous person financially, giving to those in financial distress, donating to several charities and always insisting on giving tips at restaurants (even at drive-through windows).
