He was predeceased by: his wife JoAnn Padgett Gipson; his father Otis T. Gipson; and his siblings, Huey F. Gipson and Lana Gipson Barnes of Purvis, MS.. He is survived by: his sons, Charles Barry Gipson (Terrie) of Gulfport, MS, Ronald Bryan Gipson (Donna) of Robertsdale, AL and John Patrick Gipson (Angie); and his siblings, Linda Gipson Park, Troye Gipson Hartfield and Gerald M. Gipson. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
