It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmen Sandifer (Purvis, Mississippi), who passed away on August 3, 2019, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandson Joseph Barrett; and her parents, William "Arnold" and Willow "Dean" Taylor. She is survived by: her children, Mollie (Kendrix), Rebecca Crosby (Donnie Holder), Amy Barrett (Steven) and Greg Sandifer; her grandchildren, Avery Gildersleeve, Carter Gildersleeve, Ethan Barrett, Eli Barrett and Scarlett Sandifer; and her siblings, Desma Nelson and Bill Taylor.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Homes of Hope for Children, P.O. Box 18496 Hattiesburg, MS 39404.
