She was predeceased by: her parents, Christopher Madden and Virgie Davis; her husband Emmitt Yawn; and her children, Nora and Delane Yawn.

She is survived by: her daughter Connie Hutson of Purvis; and her grandchildren, Beth Taylor of Purvis, Christy Blevins of Bay St, Nikki Merritt of Purvis, Destiny Breland of Petal, Jackie Yawn of Petal, Lacy Yawn of Purvis and Julius Yawn of Purvis. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
