He was predeceased by: his sisters, Ruth Bowen, Mildred Langston, Gaye Branton and Joye Spears; and his son-in-law Dennis White.
He is survived by: his significant other Dorothy Jean Laird (Dot); his children, Stephen Jay Langston (Linda), Charles Dempsey Langston (Mary Beth), Judy Langston White and Debbie Lea Dearmon; and his grandchildren, Lorin Langston Chancellor, Tyson Stephen Langston, Kelly Langston McTier, Charles Dempsey Langston, Jr. (Jay), Kimberly Parker and Christopher Green. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
