She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Gwedolyn Stewart (Otis) of Birmingham, Alabama, Joanne Jackson Jones, Georgia and Dwight Jackson (Shirley); her grandchildren, Joel (Sarah), Brandon Wise, Amber Rochelle Jackson, Shelley Lovie Stewart, Taylor Rosetta and Brooke Loleda Jones; her great grandchildren, Sarah Quinn and Myles David-Nelson McMillian; and her siblings, Nennie Reed of Coldwater, MS, Joyce Walker of Memphis, TN, Mattie Brownlee of Batesville, MS, Annette Carter Carroll Pierce of Fayette, MS, Joe Carter, Jr. (Minnie) of Sardis, MS, Frank Carter of Sardis, MS and Albert (Lois). She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, formers students, and dear friends.
Mrs. Edna Jackson, 88, of Preston, Mississippi passed on Thursday, November 10, 2022 from Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian, Mississippi.
