He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvion Magee and Earnestine D. Magee. He is survived by: his wife Ruthie Magee of Prentiss, MS; his children, Dewayne Bass of Mt. Olive, MS, Moses Shelton of Chicago, IL, Alexander Bass of Gulfport, MS and Monique Bass of Collins, MS; and his siblings, Edward Magee of Washington, D. C., Willie F. Magee of Prentiss, MS, Peggie M. Hall of Prentiss, MS, Shirley M. Lloyd of Grayson, GA, Theresa M. Hall of Prentiss, MS and Jocelyn M. Ragsdale of Prentiss, MS.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ruby K. Johnson Chapel, Prentiss, Mississippi (1545 3rd St, Prentiss, MS 39474).
