She is survived by: her children, Calvin Newsome of Prentiss, MS, Jacqueline Newsome of North Carolina, Priscilla Newsome of Prentiss, MS and Dana Hooks of Hattiesburg, MS; and her siblings, L. W and Elaine Bridges (Annie Jean Newsome). She is also survived by grandchildren: 10; great-grandchildren.
