He was loved and cherished by many people including: his uncles, Gideon, Mason, Shriner and Earthly; his parents, John Sharpe White and Loche Ferrell White; his wife Martha Sansom; his children, John Russell "Rusty" (Elizabeth) of Iuka and Kristy Moore Gibson of Starkville; his sisters, Nancy Sue White of Pontotoc and Mary Temple White of Pontotoc; his sisters-in-law, Shirley Mize and Amye Fugate (Clyde); his grandchildren, Andrew White (Susie) of Germany, Kathryn Jordan (Matthew) of Eupora, Kimberly Barker of Oxford, Jonathon Moore (Laiken) of Brandon, Alexander White of Oxford, Spencer White of Iuka and Henry White of Iuka; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Mason White of Germany, Bryson and Olivia Barker of Oxford; his nephew Leland Mize (Amanda); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ethan and Ashton; his nephew Lance Mize (Ary); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Arly and Parker; his daughter Anna Yamada; his caregiver Amanda Acosta; and also, Rachel Nanney (Jason) of Jackson, TN., Luis and Destini.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Carolina United Methodist Church (2000 9th Street Booneville, MS 38829), the Shriner's Hospital, the Gideon's or St. Jude.
