He was predeceased by: his father Spurgeon Bass. He is survived by: his mother Peggy Buckley Bass; his wife Linda Riley Bass; his siblings, Donald Bass (Colleen) and Lynne Banes (Barry); and his children, Teresa Cain (Victor) of Vicksburg, MS, Robert Winter, Jr. (Kristi) of Grenada, MS, Michelle Owen (Brian) of Maben, MS and Ryan Winter of Charleston, SC. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be given to New Hebron Methodist Church.
