With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Charlene Walker of Prentiss, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 11, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Shirley Charlene shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Shirley Charlene farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ephyriam Weathersby and Corrine Weathersby. She is survived by: her sons, Samuel Magee of Jackson, MS and Minoso Walker of Prentiss, MS; and her sisters, Daisy Hayes of Prentiss, MS and Emma Weathersby of Linden, AL. She is also survived by grandchildren: 3; great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Sweetwater Methodist Church.
