She was predeceased by: her parents, John Paul Benson, Sr. and Ora Mae Russell Benson. She is survived by: her brother John Paul Benson, Jr. of New Hebron; her stepsiblings, Melva Davis of Bay St, Linda Wilborn of Pace, FL, Anita Craft of Mize, Sherry Darden of Mize, Suzanne Clark of Gulfport, Ronnie Holyfield of Mendenhall and Kevin Holyfield of Byram; and her close friends, Robert McCardle of Hazlehurst and Cindy Bryan of New Hebron.
