With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roscoe Price of Prentiss, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 7, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Ray Barnes and Viola Aultman Barnes. He is survived by: his wife Betty L. Price of Prentiss, MS; his children, Terry Price of Prentiss, MS, Viola Pickering of Prentiss, MS, LaQuita Price Stewart of Prentiss, MS, April Price Wilson of Prentiss, MS and Jasmine Price of Prentiss, MS; and his siblings, David Barnes of Canada, Larry Forbes of Maryland, Mary Jenkins of Jackson, MS, Rose Brooks of Perkinston, NY, Irene Carney of New Orleans, LA, Ollie Washington of Collins, MS and Linda Skinner of Gulfport, MS. He is also survived by grandchildren: 10; great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM.
