She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie L. Mikell and Oleavia Coleman Mikell; and her spouse Willie Oatis. She is survived by: her sisters, Beatrice Mikell of Prentiss, MS, Dorothy Rankin of Prentiss, MS, Willie M. Williams of Elyria, Ohio, Carolyn Billings of Chicago and Tressie M. Donald of Rocky Mount.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Green Grove Baptist Church (6672 MS-42, Prentiss, MS 39474).
