She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah Graves and Lucy Mae Graves. She is survived by: her husband James Sims of Prentiss, MS; her children, Lionel Sims of Carson, MS, James Sims, Jr. of Carson, MS, Shirley Ann Hathorn of Bassfield, MS, Terrie Sims of Prentiss, MS and Tina Turner of Bassfield, MS; and her brother James Hathorn of Mobile, AL. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren.
