It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lavelle Nations (Prentiss, Mississippi), born in Monticello, Mississippi, who passed away on January 23, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Nations and Alma King Nations; his daughter Tracy Rayelle Nations; and his siblings, Jean Nations, Sherry Nations, Pat Nations and Ronnie Nations.

He is survived by: his sons, Joey Nations (Tina) of St. Francisville, LA and Michael R. Nations (Cheyenne) of New Hebron; his brothers, Lynn Nations of Philadelphia and Terry Nations of Prentiss; and his grandchildren, Ethan Nations, Rayelle Nations, Joseph Nations and Joshua Nations. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
