It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita Barnes of Prentiss, Mississippi, who passed away on February 17, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford Durr and Oddie Mae Durr. She is survived by: her sons, Timothy Barnes of Braxton, MS and Jermaine Barnes of Hattiesburg, MS; and her brothers, Robert Peyton of Prentiss, MS, James Newsome of Prentiss, MS, Alfred Barnes of Prentiss, MS and Daniel Barnes of Milwaukee, WI. She is also survived by grandchildren: 7; great-grandchildren.
