She was predeceased by: her parents, James Powers and Dora Powers. She is survived by: her husband Wilbert L. Oatis of Prentiss, MS; her children, Wilbert L. Oatis, Jr. of Prentiss, MS and Arica Oatis of Biloxi, MS; and her siblings, Henry L. Powers of Mt. Olive, MS, George Powers of Mt. Olive, MS, Steven Powers of Mt. Olive, MS, Douglas Powers of Arlington, TX, Wayne Powers of Savannah, GA, Charles Powers of Hattiesburg, MS and Alisa Watts of Hattiesburg, MS. She is also survived by grandchildren: 3; great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the South Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
