He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruel S. Stewart and Eunice King Stewart; and his brother Alfred L. Stewart. He is survived by: his children, David Stewart (Marilynn) of Azle, TX, Kenneth Stewart (Karen) of Tuscaloosa, AL, Ricky Stewart of Tuscaloosa, AL, Van Stewart of Marshal, TX, James Samuel Stewart, Jr. and Diane Stewart of Fishertown, PA; and his sister Margie Cook of Ocean Springs.
