He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi "Shorty" Braneff and Rev. Iris Buxton Braneff; and his sister Patsy Braneff Stanley. He is survived by: his wife Florence Erleen Tumlinson Braneff of Jackson, MS; his daughters, Judye Carol Braneff of Jackson, MS and Rahdona Janet Braneff of Jackson, MS; and his brothers, Hubert Braneff (Caroline) of Big Woods, LA and Douglas Vannoy Braneff (Bridgette) of Bastrop, TX..
