He is survived by: his wife Detra Fortenberry of New Hebron, MS; his children, Fredrick Fortenberry of Norfolk, VA, Tony Fortenberry of New Hebron, MS, Felicia Haynes of Monticello, MS and Latanya Fortenberry of New Hebron, MS; and his siblings, Eshmond Fortenberry of Silver Creek, MS, Louise Madison of Silver Creek, MS and Gloria Smith of Byram, MS..
