He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Ray Gamble, Sr. and Viola Daughdrill Gamble; his stepfather George; and his brothers, Cecil and Noland Gamble.
He is survived by: his children, Earnest Ray "Tray" Gamble, III (Jessica) of Meridian, MS, Christy Young (Ron) of Hattiesburg, MS, Trish Daley (Mitchell) of Purvis, MS and Jacqueline Gamble of New Hebron, MS; and his sister Catherine Tadlock of Morton. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
