He is survived by: his children, Denis Ray Hartzog, Jr. (Crystal) of Silver Creek, Jacob Hartzog of Savannah, GA, Skyler Austin (Joseph) of Rincon, GA and Amber Wells of Amarillo, TX; his siblings, Ronnie Hartzog (Deb) and Cindy Hartzog Richardson of Johnson City, TN; and his grandchildren, Xan Hartzog, Charleen Kay Hartzog, Ash Hartzog, Elizabeth Austin, Conner Austin, Jacob Wells and Heavenly Wells.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Lawrence County Rescue League, in Mr. Hartzog's memory.
