He was predeceased by: his parents, Orell Patterson and Florence Atwood Patterson; and his siblings, Elizabeth Aultman, Dr. Burl Patterson and B. H. Patterson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Nell Patterson of Prentiss; his son Brian Patterson (Amanda); his siblings, Estelle Herrin of Clinton, Doris Howard of Crystal Springs and Dr. Dale Patterson of Pensacola, FL.; and his grandchildren, Bryce Patterson and Macayleigh Patterson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
