He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Thurman of New Hebron; his children, Jan McPhail (Keith) of New Hebron, Brenda Stephens (Gregg) of Silver Creek, Donna Nuckles (Sambo) of New Hebron and Mickey Thurman (Dwanna) of Lone Star; his granddaughter Christy Sandifer; his great grandchildren, Jameson Sandifer, Madilynn Sandifer, Wyatt Stephens, Cooper Thurman, Ellie Thurman and Tyler Thurman; and his nieces, Linda Byrd, Betty Clifton and Sherry Turnage.
