It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Ruth Moss Fortenberry (Prentiss, Mississippi), born in Beaumont, Mississippi, who passed away on January 31, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Morgan Fortenberry of Oak Vale, MS; her parents, Clifton Moss and Viva Arlena Dean Moss; her stepfather Frank J. Blount of Oak Vale; and her stepdaughter Teresa L. Fortenberry.
She is survived by: her children, James Clifton Holland (Lorinda Kerr Holland) of Corinth, TX and Judy Ellen Holland Lepar of Oak Vale, MS; her grandsons, Joseph James Holland (Leah), Richard Austin Lepar (Chelsea) and Brian Taylor Lepar; her great grandchildren, Julianna Holland, Avery Alexus Ruiz, Emma Marianna Lepar and Julia Catherine Lepar; her close friends, Berwick Ostheimer and Rosa Hampton; and her stepchildren, Cheryl Diane Fortenberry, Rance M. Fortenberry and Steven R. Fortenberry. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Due to pandemic restrictions, we were not able to hold a funeral service at the time.
