He is survived by: his wife Katie Ruth Taylor of Bassfield; his children, Chickyoko Smith (Michael) of Gulfport and Alfred Taylor, Jr. of Bassfield; his grandchildren, Michael Smith, Jr., Malachi Smith and Quintravious Hall; his aunt Dovie Booth; and his cousin Merdith S. Bostic of Pascagoula, MS. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
