With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Johnson (Port Gibson, Mississippi), who passed away on December 10, 2021 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Bobo and Lola Wroten Bobo; her husband A. R. "Blackie" Johnson; her son Mark Carlson; and her brothers, Gromer Dowell Bobo, R. Lavalle Bobo and Charles Bobo.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Carlson (Linda) and Cris Simmons (Gene); and her grandchildren, Chad Simmons (Tammy), Emily Simmons Edmonds (Brian) and Marci Simmons Watters (John). She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers make donations to the Animal Rescue League in Brookhaven, MS.
